Art designed by nature through your lens

Looking for a special outdoor setting for senior, family, engagement, or group photo session? Do your clients dream of golden hour with trees and flowers? Wildflower Art Farm is ready to help you create unique photos - we're excited to begin booking summer 2026 with a select group of professional photographers.

We believe nature creates the best art, so we're opening up our farm for photography by appointment only (if you're picking flowers, feel free to take casual pictures and tag us). Each booked photo session will guarantee only one other party will be in the three-acre wildflower field at the same time - though we're never sure what wildlife may appear and our cat, Georgia, likes to greet guests. Each photography party can pick a bouquet to add to their photos or to take home. If weather becomes an issue, we'll work with you to re-schedule at a mutually agreeable time.

Would you like to learn more about booking a professional photography session on our farm? Fill out the contact form below and we can talk about you're looking for in May-October 2026. Our first professional photo partners will receive a discount from the $50/hour booking rate for the 2026 season, as well as a mention on our website for those seeking a photographer. We're not too far away; our beautiful field is 45 minutes from both downtown Indianapolis and Lafayette (halfway between the two cities) – we provide our address upon booking.

We're a bit biased, but we think Wildflower Art Farm is a pretty special place to make memories and cherish the family & friend photos created on our farm. We invite you to enjoy art created by nature with your lens.

Why visit?
Peace.
It's rare to hear another voice out here. We do apologize if a moo disrupts the quiet, but our cows are spoiled show cattle. They're behind an electric fence and we're not making them available for photos at this time (the same with our house and barn). However, some pretty amazing sunsets, golden hours, and the occasional rainbow come with your photography booking.  We're glad to provide sample photos of the peace of sunset or golden hour of the field before it was planted into flowers.

Nature.

Our native flower seeds are hand-selected for color and we're expecting blooms summer through early fall. These are wildflowers; please know the field is not like visiting a florist or greenhouse - it is naturally filled with pollinator wildflowers that may not be perfect and there's no changing room. We do expect it to be perfectly beautiful and will limit the number of visitors - including no pets (for the safety of our cattle) unless arranged in advance.

Tranquility.
Our butterflies and hummingbirds seem normal to us, but visitors get excited to see them. Remember to treasure tranquility - it's best to not touch or chase them - and if you see a bee, just leave it be. We ask all visitors to respect our farm and protect the pollinators by leaving nothing behind. We cherish the environment on our farm, drink the water from a well next to the flower field, and do everything we can to preserve farmland for the future.

Beauty.
Where else can you pick wildflowers to take home, find art from
pressed flowers grown on property, or have really special photos taken? It is said that beauty is in the eye of the beholder, but we hope you Wildflower Art Farm brings you peace, tranquility, and beauty in a difficult world. We're building a small business to bring joy through the art of nature and deeply appreciate the support of photography partners.
